DIPA
Double India Pale Ale (DIPA) is an intensely hoppy beer style. This beer is characterized by its high alcohol content and intense hop flavor and aroma. The Double India Pale Ale does not have complex maltiness or sweetness. Typically, DIPA has an alcohol content of 7-10% alcohol by volume (ABV). In addition, it features a bold, resinous, and piney hop character. The style originated in the United States as a more robust version of the famous India Pale Ale (IPA) style. DIPA is considered a subcategory of IPA and is a favorite among craft beer enthusiasts for its complex and robust flavor profile.
This type of beer is sometimes referred to as an Imperial IPA. There isn’t any difference with the beer. It’s just a fancier term for the same craft beer.
